Brad has over 10 years of experience split between Deloitte and Brookfield Asset Management, focusing on financial technology transformation initiatives across various industries. He was responsible for overseeing various global treasury initiatives and chaired Brookfield's global treasury technology committee.
He was the youngest signing officer at Brookfield (NYSE: BAM), the largest real estate company in the world, also operating in Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy. He was a key resource for implementing and transforming treasury and payment systems, ERPs, and various other digital transformation initiatives.
At Deloitte, his financial advisory position covered M&A, restructuring, insolvency and forensic asset recovery.
After completing his degree in electrical engineering, Rumi dropped out of his Master's in Control System Theory program to pursue a career as a tech entrepreneur.
Rumi initially co-founded, built and sold a self-serve, mobile advertising company, Mobicow, which was sold in late 2015 to pursue DLT projects full time.
While working on both the business and software development aspects of the advertising business, Rumi was a contributor in several early crypto mining projects.
Rumi has worked on several Ethereum related projects as a governing member of Blocksense coop in Montreal.
He also co-founded Greenstream, a hyperledger project, which was subsequently acquired by a publicly traded company.
Rumi currently works as a governing member of Blocksense coop, and does independent consultation work out of his Montreal Quebec office on Blockchain related and decentralized computing projects
